Version 0.0.1 "So It Begins"

Updates:
>Added an additional hand slot (up to 4 now).
>Added a single "Speed Up" card to the starting deck.
>Added hotkeys such that you can quickly play cards using the number keys (1, 2, 3 and 4).
>Added a "click to play" ability. Just tap space when holding  a card, or hold space while clicking a card to instantly play it.
>Fixed Survival Mode.
>Adjusted how cards in your hand refill so that the card you play is replaced without shuffling the other cards around in your hand.

So, I suppose this will be the first devlog among many. This game emerged out of the GMTK 2020 Jam, and I was so surprised by how fun and unique it is that I've decided to make this my main project and to "finish" it (whatever that means). This first update was to add some support for keyboard hotkeys, and to fix a few bugs I missed in the jam. Please, if you are interested in this project, contact me or leave feedback comments. This is a very weird game, and I want to add stuff like combat, deck building and different ships to pilot (which will have their own unique decks). It was sort of a fluke that a game this good manifested from a series of basically random game mechanics being mashed together. I'm lucky to have this project to work on, and I doubt I alone am competent enough to do this game justice, which is why any feedback is extremely appreciated.

In the next update, expect some or all of these features:
>More cards.
>A "pick 1 from 3" draft that appears everytime you collect a waypoint.
>Exactly one type of re-spawning enemy that pesters you while you're trying to complete a run :).
>A trail that appears when highlighting a card which will show you which way the ship will rotate if you play that card!! (MUCH REQUESTED)
>Maybe more....

Please check in frequently. I want to make updates every two weeks if I can. I work Monday thru Thursday, so I only have 3 days a week to work on this project, but I deeply believe in and appreciate any support I might receive. Thank you.

Thank you man. I appreciate the support. I donno if you've received a link to this discord chat, but I'm in a chat with a bunch of people from the GMTK jam that are trying to encourage each other to keep improving our games post jam. You will probably see me there.

I'll take your suggestion about the speed boost card to heart. I'm still not sure what direction to take movement speed. As of now, your speed slowly increases over time indefinitely. I may just lock it to a top speed in the future, and then the boost card will only be a temporary speed boost. Yea, it depends a lot on how difficult combat is. If combat is frustrating with this control scheme, then the game will become more "explorer" based. If combat works, it'll go more of a traditional rogue-lite route.
